The task leader is responsible to lead the development of new and smarter electrical components and to improve existing electrical components to reach our customer?s demands, needs and expectations. In the cooperation with electronic specialists, Component development engineers and sourcing developer you will create components and products that will be sold all over the world in big volumes. The work will be conducted in a team of skilled and motivated persons around the world. The position will give all possibilities to constantly learn new things and develop yourself. As a person you should enjoy working in a changing environment and having smart ideas on how to improve present solutions and succeed as a team. You need to have a solid software and connectivity knowledge.

A few of your main responsibilities will be;

? In the role as Task leader you will lead the IKEA Components technical agenda for new development of electrical components
? Be the assigned contact person for IKEA of Sweden on electrical components.
? Collect and define our assigners DNE?s (demands, needs and expectations).
? Act as a project leader for the component development assignments within our own organization.
? Responsible for roadmaps and range offer towards product development teams.
? Take an active part as the component range expert, in the development projects of the final product.
? Lead/contribute in strategic range platforms/projects and technical development.


Is this the right challenge for you?

We believe that you have an Electronic engineering education and experience as project leader with in software development and connectivity based products. You have good knowledge of different office programs to help you in structuring projects and you understand production processes, cost drivers and material characteristics/performance. You have the ability to lead/contribute to strategic development and to develop good project descriptions to describe the components that needs to be developed or updated. You are willing to always be updated about technical international standards and norms related to the electrical components. It?s important that you have good knowledge in English, both spoken and written.

As a person you are pro-active, methodical, innovative and have practical understanding. You follow up started assignments. You have good communicating skills, the ability to work closely with others and you share the IKEA basic values.
