YOUR ROLE
As a Task Manager for Special Mission and Regional Aircraft (SMRA) you will work closely together with other resources within the organisation e.g. Customer Support, Purchasing, Design and Technical Information to coordinate and deliver modifications for civil aircraft operators.

This position entails responsibility for driving a number of tasks and coordinate the work to update design documents, manual updates and material deliveries when needed. The organisation develop both new modifications and offers smaller updates of already existing solutions. As Task Manager, you will play a key role in delivering the modifications to our civil aircraft customers on time, and within budget.

You will be part of the section PMO, Project Management Office, a team with approximately 20 Project Managers handling the SMRA ongoing projects. The projects vary in size, and we handle both large projects like Global Eye and smaller aftermarket delivery projects for the for the Saab 340 and Saab 2000 platforms.

Over time, the project management tasks will vary in both complexity and scope, if you are interested it is possible to develop in the organisation and take on more responsibilities and projects that are more challenging later on. Together we will set your individual development plan according to your earlier experiences and career interests.

YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for a driven task manager with the ability to handle a number of tasks, often with short lead-time. You need to be able to come into the system quickly, prioritise and assist others when needed. For this job, you need to be organized and able to manage yourself and the resources needed for the tasks. You are a good communicator with the ability to create trust and commitment among those in your team and project stakeholders. You strive to identify new possibilities, challenges and ways to be more efficient and you act on them.

Special Mission and Regional Aircraft, a newly formed part of the Aeronautics Business Area within Saab, delivers extensive aircraft platform modifications, services and integrated support solutions for cost effective support of systems and platforms during the complete life cycle.

SMRA is now in an intensive phase with several Special Mission and Civil delivery projects ongoing.

Our business aims to establish and support the customer capability to operate and maintain world class systems like GlobalEye, SK60, Saab 340 and 2000.
