Tax Analyst
Nasdaq is looking for a Tax Analyst to join the Tax team! Nasdaq has business operations in over 30 countries and we expand our business through organic growth and acquisitions worldwide. Being part of the International Tax team means you will work closely with colleagues in Stockholm, New York, Bangalore and Sydney as well as with the Business and Accounting teams.
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will work broadly in a wide range of tax compliance matters within Nasdaq, including preparing tax documentation and tax relief at source processes. You will also be involved in transfer pricing and CRS tax-related matters. This role will involve:
Monitor tax compliance, prepare and maintain tax documents, reports and other related materials.
Provide the business departments with tax knowledge of international company tax issues by reviewing tax legislation, double taxation agreements, tax calculations etc.
Work with withholding tax (WHT) related matters such as evaluate taxability of services in relation to WHT, and provide advice internally and externally.
Support with transfer pricing related matters such as IC allocations and transfer pricing documentation.
Support in CRS and FATCA related matters.
Identify opportunities to improve the consistency and accuracy of tax information.
We expect you to have
University degree in business administration, law, accounting or equivalent
2-3 years of professional experience within tax from an international organization
Strong stakeholder management skills as you will be working with internal and external stakeholders
An interest and ability to analyze and interpret data
Expertise in Microsoft Office Products, excellent skills in Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
It would be great if you have
Proficiency with any of the accounting systems, Workday Financials or Hyperion Essbase (SmartView)
Some experience with withholding tax
Some experience with FATCA and CRS
Some experience with transfer pricing
