We are looking for a Tax and Accounting Specialist to our client in
Malmö. Our client is a part of a very large international company in
the food industry. Our client's turnover amounts to approximately 150
million SEK and the company has about 100 employees.
You will be based in their head office in Malmö and be part of the
finance team, that consists of five employees. You will report to the
Finance Manager.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Perform a range of tax/accounting compliance and advisory work to
support the effective management, including corporate tax liabilities,
tax reporting, transfer pricing and ensuring compliance with all
statutory positions.
Provide pro-active, high quality specialist advice and guidance. The
role may require liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure process compliance so that source system data is complete and
accurate as well as adhering to policies, procedures and accounting
standards.
Your main responsibilities are;?
* Prepare and deliver accurate financial information, in line with
accounting principles.
* Accrual, including salaries and expenses cost centre control.
Perform Variance analysis.
* Prepare statutory accounts & reports. Manage the statutory
accounts preparation and completion process in line with governance
and reporting calendar.
* Assure the proper controls are in place (e.g. Delegation of
authorities, PO compliance, Payments / Bank Accounts, Records
Management, Policies & Procedures).
* Insurance: Assure the correct insurances are in place, interface
information with insurance broker.
* Comply with local laws and regulations (including tax, company
registration, external regulatory).
* Monthly declaration of VAT and Excise. Yearly Income Tax
Calculation. Understand Personnel tax. Prepare Intrastat Report.
Assist with tax specifications and information. Prepare yearly Tax
Return Report. Transfer Pricing Margin and documentation.
YOUR PROFILE
You have strong accounting and tax technical knowledge and
a thorough understanding and knowledge of relevant finance tools and
systems, specifically Excel and ERP. You have the ability to handle
large volumes of information and present it in an accurate and
relevant format. You are fluent in both spoken and written English /
Swedish. Having experience with NAV or KAPELL is a plus.
As a person you are structured, result driven and open to change. You
have the ability to work under pressure and keep to tight
deadlines. To be successful in this role you will also need to have
good communication skills and feel comfortable working closely with
several parties within the company.
