On behalf of Heimstaden, we are now looking for a Tax Manager who will assume group responsibility for the management and handling of direct and indirect tax issues in the Group.

The European tax landscape is complex and ever-changing, and Heimstaden is a growing organization. To be able to manage the multitude of companies and capital flows/transfer pricing flows, Heimstaden is now looking for a Tax Manager to join a fun and experienced team in a dynamic workplace. You will build a strong internal network and actively make sure that stakeholders are aware of the types of direct and indirect tax risks that they may be exposed to. To be successful in this role you need to have strong communication skills to rapidly build trust among your stakeholders. The position is placed in Heimstaden’s beautiful office in Malmö and you will report to Head of Group Reporting and IR.

Main Responsibilities:
• Assume a group responsibility for the management and handling of transfer pricing, tax issues and VAT for the group.
• Preparation and management of transfer pricing documentation and underlying agreements, tax documentation and implementation of practical solutions to any tax-related issues which may arise.
• Project leader with tax risk management projects and ensure monthly tax reporting within the group.
• Advise on new technologies and strategies to mitigate tax risks and contribute to the year-end reporting process.
• Optimize solutions with regards to tax matters as well as encouraging a good tax compliance culture.
• Participate in various initiatives driven by other functions in the group, such as development projects, M&A and other structural processes.
• Stay abreast of the changing transfer pricing and tax developments and trends.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a person with a proactive attitude and an ability to build and maintain good relations. A person who are both used to, as well as enjoys working independently. At the same time you display an eagerness to learn with a coaching mindset. As a person you are both analytical, yet willing to challenge our existing way of working.
Preferably you have approximately 5 years of work experience in working with tax matters as a consultant, in corporate finance, in an industrial company or within the Swedish Tax Agency. Maybe you work in an auditing firm today and want to take your next step. You have a deep understanding in accounting, finance and tax principles, with Swedish tax knowledge as a must.
You have a University degree in Finance and/or Law and are fluent in both Swedish and English. If you have a great interest in tax matters together with a curious personality you will thrive in this position.
