The Geely Business Center is a competence center of the Geely Sweden Holdings group- and provides specialist competences and shared services for the companies in the holding group.

Job description:

We are now looking for a Tax Manager to join our Tax team. You are as enthusiastic about taxes as we are, and you understand the value of delivering quality work on a daily basis. You have a profound knowledge in Corporate Tax Law and Transfer Pricing which you combine with a collaborative mindset. You have a genuine interest to follow the latest international tax development and summarize the essentials. You always strive for continuous improvement combined with high integrity, pedagogical skills, and a pragmatic approach. As Tax Manager, you possess the ability to deliver to tight deadlines while retaining delivery of best practice and accuracy.

Responsibilities and tasks:

Today the Tax team consists of five team members, and the intention is to expand the team with another Tax Manager. Someone who enjoys working with complex material CIT and TP issues evolved from both a domestic and international environment. You will belong to a dynamic Tax team who focuses on compliance as well as proactive tax guidance to several companies owned by Geely Group. A natural part of your assignment will be to support with the digital transformation journey within the area of tax compliance and tax reporting.

Key accountabilities will be amongst others;

- Advice on general tax matters, e.g. tax accounting and tax compliance,
- Support with Swedish tax calculations and income tax returns,
- Support in communications with tax authorities and external advisors,
- Assist the Transfer Pricing Managers to set transfer pricing policies and ensure current transfer pricing policies are implemented correctly,
- Implementation of processes for tax reporting and sustainability requirements evolved from an international context.


You will collaborate with internal stakeholders within the Group to ensure compliance, day-to-day support within both specific legal entity and Group to provide guidance in relation to the domestic and international environment that the business activities are performed. You keep updated on tax developments in CIT & TP law/practice, assess their impact on the business and continuously summarizes these developments and lead training seminars to always ensure adequate knowledge management within the area. In close collaboration with the Tax Team, you will also work with external advisors to ensure CIT & TP are managed effectively and in-line with Group policies.

A natural part of your work will be to identify opportunities to improve efficiency in existing compliance, routines, documentation and reporting processes and find synergies in our ways of working, or better utilization of systems etc. You will report to the Tax Team Leader of GBC.

Requirements:

- 3-6 years of work experience as a CIT & TP advisor from an audit firm, MNE or Tax authority.
- Expertise within CIT & TP related to international trade of goods and services, M&A-transactions as well as financial transactions
- Relevant Academic Degree, i.e. Law or Finance.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
- It is meritorious to have knowledge within other tax related areas such as International Tax Structuring, Customs Duties and Accounting.
