Tax Manager/Specialist

We are now looking for a Tax Manager/Specialist specialized in International Taxation that wants to join our fantastic Finance/Tax Team in Lund and contribute to our success journey going forward!

Who is your future team?
You will be part of our Tax team which forms part of the Finance Department consisting of 42 competent colleagues and you will report to Head of Tax. This is a full-time position based in Lund, Sweden. Are you ready to be a part of the Tax team?

The role:
The role as Tax Specialist at Axis covers various kinds of tax matters in our international business environment. A specific and important area of responsibility is for Transfer Pricing, but also involvement in everyday compliance such as tax returns, WHT, VAT, tax audits and other miscellaneous tax issues. The role does not include staff responsibilities.

Kresponsibilities

* Be an integral part of the tax function on a global basis.
* Taking a leading role in managing Axis' transfer pricing policy, ensuring that appropriate documentation is in place, including coordination of annual transfer pricing study.
* Responsible to make the TP-documentation and process more cost efficient and to monitor and improve risk control & compliance rate.
* Responsibility for Country-by-Country reporting.
* Set up intra-group agreements for supplies and re-organizations.
* Participate in tax audits and other regulatory inquiries and negotiating with tax authorities where necessary.
* Follow up and pursue any other TP-related issues.
* Liaise closely with local Finance team including accounting, legal and global Finance Directors responsible for different geographical areas worldwide.

Other qualifying requirements are experience in:

* Considering Indirect Tax implications of decisions
* VAT enquiries in Sweden
* DAC6/MDR
* ERP-systems (IFS)
* Consolidation Tools (AARO)

About you/Skills We believe you will need
You have a minimum of 3-5+ years of experience from either an international business and/or top-tier accounting firm, where you have demonstrated interest and knowledge within Transfer pricing and/or international taxation or similar. Work experience of similar services from the tax authorities is also preferred. This combined with a Master/University degree in Law, Finance or equivalent degree.

* Have strong communication skills (oral, written and interpersonal) and are able to communicate technical tax information in a pedagogical way to stakeholders from a non-tax background.
* You enjoy working independently as well as together with others.
* Experience with financial systems (ERP, consolidation tools and management reporting tools).
