Tax Manager/Specialist

We are now looking for a Tax Specialist specialized in International Taxation that wants to join our fantastic Finance/Tax Team in Lund and contribute to our success journey going forward!

Who is your future team?
You will be part of our Tax team which forms part of the Finance Department consisting of 42 competent colleagues and you will report to Head of Tax. You will play an important role in taking Axis Tax team to the next level. Thus, you should desire to go above and beyond to deliver and grow as an individual and as a team. The role
The role as Tax Specialist at Axis covers various kind of tax matters in our international business environment. You will be an integral part of the tax function on a global basis and responsible for tax in specific jurisdictions. The role includes responsibility for everyday compliance such as Transfer Pricing, CIT returns, WHT, VAT, tax audits and other miscellaneous tax issues as well as involvement in process improvements, drafting intra-group agreements and improve risk control & compliance rate. The role does not include staff responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

* Be an integral part of the tax function on a global basis.
* Taking a leading role and responsibility for any tax area and/or jurisdictions assigned.
* Liaise closely with local Finance team including accounting, legal and global Finance Directors responsible for different geographical areas worldwide.
* Participate in preparing Axis' transfer pricing policy, ensure that appropriate documentation is in place and Country-by-Country reporting.
* Set up intra-group agreements for supplies and re-organizations.
* Participate in tax audits and other regulatory inquiries and negotiating with tax authorities where necessary.
* Follow up and pursue any other tax issues related to M&A, other acquisitions and restructurings.

Other qualifying requirements are experience in:

* OECD Pillar 1 & 2
* DAC6/MDR
* Considering Indirect Tax implications of decisions
* ERP-systems (IFS) and consolidation Tools (AARO)

About you/Skills We believe you will need
You have several years of experience from either an international business and/or top-tier accounting firm, where you have demonstrated interest and knowledge within international taxation or similar. This combined with a Master/University degree in Law, Finance or equivalent degree.

* Have strong communication skills (oral, written and interpersonal) and are able to communicate technical tax information in a pedagogical way to stakeholders from a non-tax background.
