About us:
Stegra, formerly known as H2 Green Steel, is on a mission to disrupt the global steel industry by producing green steel, with the end goal of bringing down CO2 emissions to zero. By using green hydrogen and fossil-free electricity instead of coal; water and heat will be our primary emissions. By 2030, our ambition is to produce 5 million tonnes of green steel annually in our fully integrated, digitalized, and sustainable plant in Boden, located in northern Sweden - currently in construction phase. But this is just the beginning – our expertise in green hydrogen will enable us to decarbonize other industries in addition to steel, and we look forward to what’s next in store for us.

Ensure end-to-end VAT compliance, including preparation of VAT returns and other VAT related reports.
Support the accounts payable and logistics team in VAT related matters, such as contracting and import of goods and services, both EU and non-EU.
Ensure the organization to be up-to-date on changes in VAT legislations.
Support inVAT process standardization projects, such asensuring a correct VAT set-up in our ERP system.
Support month-end closing procedure with regards to VAT.
Ensure internal and external control processes in the area of VAT.

Qualifications
Strong experience in VAT compliance and import VAT rules.
Knowledge of VAT regulations within and outside the EU.
Ability to support various teams on VAT-related matters.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Fluency in Swedish.

Preferred Qualifications
Interest in corporate income tax.
Experience with the import of goods and services outside of Europe.

Interest in corporate income tax is a plus as well as experience from import of goods and services outside of Europe. Location: Stockholm or Boden, H2GS AB
