Kvarngärdesskolan, Uppsala International School, is one of the largest municipal schools in Uppsala. Our school is centrally located in Uppsala, 5 mins from the main train station.
Our students come from all over the world and they are taught in both English and Swedish to become true bilingual world citizens.
We have classes from Junior Class (förskoleklass) to Grade 9.
We offer an open and international environment and as part of the ECIS community (European Council of International School) you get to go on an international conference regularly.
All of our teachers speak English and each class has two class teachers.9.

Arbetsuppgifter
Your main responsibility is to make sure that all the students in your class reaches the goals.
You fill your students with self-confidence and your classroom is a peaceful yet creative place.
You work closely with a colleague, with whom you share the whole responsibility of a class.
You also work with a wider team of teachers to develop your own and others teaching methods. You have the ability to create a safe environment in the classroom and you are used to working with continuous assessment and evaluation.

Kvalifikationer
We search for you that have teacher certification and is registered teacher qualified to work with students in the younger years (Grade 1-3). You are a native English speaker or you are using English as an everyday language on a regular basis. You might even have the experience of teaching early literacy skills.

As a person you are good at structure, plan and prioritize your work. You have good teaching skills and understanding of people different opportunities to acquire knowledge. You are a flexible person who has the ability to see the possibilities of change. Further you are calm and collected in different situations and have the ability to focus on the right things. Furthermore, you have good interpersonal skills and relate to others in a responsive and smooth manner
