CRAFT Teacher, Art, Wood / Metal

Are you a creative and outstanding teacher looking for a new challenge in an expanding school with a keen focus on Aesthetics?

Internationella Engelska Skolan Solna is a new school, opened in 2021. We are currently a grade 4 -8 school and will expand to grade 9 in 2022. The school is located in the popular kommun of Solna, close to good transport connections and borders with Stockholm City. 

We seek a qualified and creative ART - Design and Technology teacher to teach Crafts in years 4-6 who can combine this with Crafts (Textiles/Woodwork). Our school follows the Swedish National Curriculum teaching in English, but at the same time incorporating Swedish culture and traditions in this subject. We have well-equipped facilities where students are able to develop their creative skills in a purpose built craft room where we are developing a maker space concept this year. We have generous facilities and innovative equipment from which to develop our curriculum.

You will be joining an experienced and creative Aesthetics team and you would be starting with the team in an important part of our development. We work closely in our departments with subject development and cross curriculum themes, so we are looking for a creative team player wanting to be part of our collegian sharing approach for quality learning at our school.

These subjects are taught in English or bilingually using Swedish.
