Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) is a leading independent school group ("friskola") with academic results far above average and a diverse and energetic staff. Teaching is through both Swedish and English, with English the language of the corridors. We are looking for qualified teachers in all subjects in years 4-9 to our new school at IES Solna, as well as other school staff, with admission in August 2022. To succeed with us, we see that you are: Internationally oriented: You will collaborate with colleagues who have different educational experiences from around the world. Some students may not have Swedish (or English) as their mother tongue and you will therefore need to adapt your teaching to be able to meet each student's individual needs. Passion for your subject: You want to inspire your students to love the subject as much as you do. Enthusiastic about teaching and teaching: You share our belief that every student can reach their potential. Flexible: You are willing to take on new challenges and have an open mind to create a new school together with others. The International English School Solna opened in August 2021 with 19 classes in years 4-8, further developing into a 4-9 school 2022/23. The school has four classes in each grade. We believe in a clear focus on student peace, security and respect, as well as on building a positive school environment that is permissive and inclusive - and that gives good school results. Your own teaching as a teacher from Sweden takes place in Swedish, but between colleagues we speak English.
