Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) is a leading independent school group ("friskola") with academic results far above average and a diverse and energetic staff. Teaching is through both Swedish and English, with English the language of the corridors. TEACHER REQUIRED FOR Grade 1 - 3

IES Växjö opened in August 2023 and is currently and F-8 school. Next year, we will grow to become F - 9 and finally have a cohort of approximately 600 children.

As all IES schools, we concentrate on our 3 fundamental principles of:

As we grow, we will need more teachers and therefore we are now advertising for a teacher in years 1 - 3. 

The role will mean that you have a permanent and full-time contract and will work specifically with students in years 1 and 2. In addition, there will be a mentor role attached to the position and this will mean mentoring no more than half of a class.

It is important that the applicant can speak both Swedish and English and has the following:

Lärare Legitimation is essential, however those working towards achieving lärare legitimation will also be considered.
