German teacher for Senior school in years 6-9

Internationella Engelska Skolan i Täby, Stockholm, Sweden is a highly successful and well-established flagship school within the expanding IES organisation of independent bilingual schools in Sweden.

Our very popular and successful school consisting of a junior and senior school is located in Täby in the Stockholm area, with easy access to the city centre.

Due to our continued expansion, we seek a qualified and creative German teacher in our Senior school for students aged 12-16. You will be part of an experienced and established MFL (modern foreign language) team within the school. We work closely in our departments with subject development and cross curriculum themes, so we are looking for a creative team player wanting to be part of our collegial sharing approach for quality learning at our school.

Our school follows the Swedish National Curriculum. German is taught bilingually using English or Swedish as the support teaching language.

We have a well developed PD programme for teachers, including are Cambridge courses on Bilingualism, Teaching and Learning and Middle Leadership in Education.
