Teacher of MFL (Modern Foreign Language

The British International School of Stockholm is seeking to appoint a teacher who has a passionate and enthusiastic approach to teaching both French and Spanish from Year 5 to Year 9, with some French teaching at IGCSE
The successful candidates will have:
• proven experience of teaching Spanish and French
• knowledge and experience of teaching French or Spanish IGCSE and/or IBDP (desirable)
• the ability to share outstanding practice and develop other colleagues
• A creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom In addition, applicants should:
• be a fully qualified teacher (UK BEd or PGCE with relevant degree, or hold the equivalent recognised teaching qualifications from other countries)
• have a minimum two years’ relevant teaching experience
• be a fluent English speaker
• Be eligible to live and work in Sweden

The British International School of Stockholm is situated across a split site in Djursholm, a beautiful suburb of Stockholm. In Secondary, BISS uses objectives from Cambridge Secondary and English National Curriculum, followed by Cambridge IGCSE courses for Years 10 and 11. We offer the IB Diploma for Years 12 and 13.
