PE Teacher Year 8 - 9
Internationella Engelska Skolan Järfälla is a 5-9 school with 560 students and 62 staff. The school opened in 2002 and is located in Jakobsberg, just a short walk from the train station.
We are looking for a qualified PE teacher to join us as a teacher for year 8 and 9 students. IES Järfälla is one of the most well-established schools in the IES company, with clear structures, well-functioning routines and a warm atmosphere. Järfälla is situated in the greater Stockholm area, and the school is a short walk from Jakobsberg Station.
We are looking for a person with an enthusiasm for their subject, excellent classroom management and a sincere interest in student well-being. You will be working with colleagues in the PE department to plan creative and inspiring lessons, as well as overseeing the development of our local curriculum for PE from Years 5 - 9. There is a lot of freedom in our school to try new material and methods in the classroom.

We follow the Swedish National Curriculum for PE and a knowledge of Swedish is seen as a merit.
If this sounds interesting to you, please send your CV and a cover letter to our Academic Manager Mr Johansson or apply through the IES Careers website.
