Spanish Teacher Year 6-9
Internationella Engelska Skolan Järfälla is a 5-9 school with 560 students and 62 staff. IES Järfälla is one of the most well-established schools in the IES company, with clear structures, well-functioning routines and a warm atmosphere. Järfälla is situated in the greater Stockholm area, and the school is a short walk from Jakobsberg Station.
We are now looking for a qualified spanish teacher to join us as a teacher for year 6-9 students. This position starts fall term 2022 and lasts a year.
This person has an enthusiasm for their subject, excellent classroom management and a sincere interest in student well-being. You will be working with colleagues in the spanish department to plan creative and inspiring lessons, as well as overseeing the development of our local curriculum for spanish from Years 6 - 9. There is a lot of freedom in our school to try new material and methods in the classroom.
In addition, you will be part of a year team (arbetslag) overseeing the academic progress and well-being of students. We are looking for a positive and creative team player, who looks for solutions, shares ideas and is open to learn from others. The role also includes mentorship of 16 students.
