Do you want to be part of digitizing the heavy construction industry and become a Team Lead of Cloud Developers and Testers in a dynamic project environment? At Leica Geosystems Technology, we are now looking for a Team Lead and Cloud Engineer for our Machine Control Division.

We are seeking an experienced Team Lead for our Development team in Liljeholmen, Stockholm, with a focus on rapid value delivery for our cloud solution.
Job Description – The Role and Responsibilities
Leica ConX is a revolutionary product that offers our customers the possibility to monitor work on heavy construction sites, plan work for entire projects, communicate in real time between machines, operators, and office staff. You will be part of our R&D Software department leading a team of seven developers and testers, creating and delivering a world-class, cloud-based system that integrates the Leica portfolio of surveying and machine control technologies. The product portfolio ecosystem spans many products, and the cloud is the central point for a variety of data both in transit and refined to produce valuable insights to our customers. ConX is the mission critical glue that connects many of Leica’s machine control solutions together.
Your responsibility will be twofold. You will dedicate some of your time to your team and ensure the right support, including but not limited to goalsetting, coaching and professional development. In addition, you will also support and develop our position through managing releases of our top-quality software and helping to ramp up our CI/CD practices and the team’s output for a mission critical product. You will work with a diverse cross-functional team to design, develop, operate, and maintain software that brings real-world value to our customers. You will have the support of your team in the Stockholm office and will work very closely with our sister team in Poland.
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer with an open, honest and supportive approach to leadership. We are open to candidates at senior level; title and compensation will be commensurate with experience.
This is you
You have a formal relevant education, bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience. You are honest, engaged, structured, analytical, and willing to be part of a great team where we value and use our differences to push the limit of quality and performance.
In addition, we expect you to have:
Experience with managing people.
5+ years of cloud development experience.
Self-sufficient, structured with an eye for details.
Fluent spoken and written English is a requirement for this position.
Strong understanding of software development life cycles (Agile/Scrum/SAFe).
Strong problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively, working both independently and as part of a team.
