Vestas Northern and Central Europe is a sales business unit covering Scandinavia, UK, Ireland, Poland, the Baltics, Germany, Benelux as well as Eastern Europe and south of Africa. We are responsible for the Sales function, Project, Installation and Service of wind farms throughout these regions. We strive to be the No. 1 performing business unit within Vestas, and we aim to make Vestas North and Central Europe the best place to work.
Order Handling and Operations is a part of the Service business Unit NCE (Northern & Central Europe) and our responsibility is to support the organisation with supplying Spare part and together with our order handling team the primary contact for our Service organisation. Our customers can be found mainly our Service business, Construction and growing External customers. The department is consisting of 5 internal area warehouse and 4 Team Leads, and we have an open working culture characterised by trust and accountability. Good collaboration and communication skills are prerequisites for doing well in the role. You will have the opportunity to work in a constantly evolving industry with motivated and engaged colleagues.
To facilitate our service operations, we are setting up two new service centers in Sweden (Örebro and Sundsvall) and one in Finland. As a Team Leader you will be taking the lead of getting these installed and operational.

Responsibilities
As a primary interface for the Service Organisation it is our priority to support and make things happen. In this role you will recruit and supervise a team consisting of approximately 6 stock keepers located on the Service Centers, dealing with the daily support. Furthermore, your responsibilities will include:
Ensure a safe warehouse for all employees
Receiving inbound shipments from our regional warehouse in Germany
Receiving return shipments from service vans
Performing Pick, Pack and Ship
Ensure that the warehouse is productive and effective according to the LEAN principles
Delivery performance
Participate in improvement projects


Qualifications
Several years of leadership experience
Experience in warehouse management or logistics
Fluency in spoken and written English, good knowledge in Swedish
Experience in working with SAP
Knowledge with setting and working with KPI's


Competencies
Good communications skills
Ability to make things happen, delegate and follow up
Structured with good organization skills
Good collaborator
Significant leadership skills

Additional information
You may be located in either Örebro or Sundsvall, with some expected travels between the Service Centers.
