We consider Bally’s Interactive to be a tech company first and a gaming company second, so it should come as no surprise that we consider our Technology team to be the beating heart of the business. Our team is the driving force behind the powerful platforms that house all Bally’s Interactive brands and ventures. The incredibly diverse talents that make up our Technology teams include disciplines and skills such as Software Development, Architecture, QA, and Machine Learning.
This is not a remote role.
The Role
Leading and managing a team of developers. You will be supporting career development of individuals by providing guidance and mentoring.
Coaching the team towards an Agile mindset with a focus on product delivery.
Adapt Ways of Working, align to the team culture and help the team make continuous improvements. Drive initiatives within the team to improve collaboration and teamwork.
Skills
Solid experience working in teams who develop and maintain software.
Being able to work with Java, HTML, and CSS.
Previous experience supporting the personal and technical development of individuals, performing appraisals and supporting recruitment for a small team of developers.
Ability to effectively collaborate and align as part of a leadership team.
Has a strong oral, written and presentation skills combined with the ability to facilitate meetings and lead group discussion for navigating complex solutions
Passionate about Agile software engineering practices and tools (e.g., TDD, Continuous Integration etc).
Act as a role model for team members.
You are not afraid of asking why and for what purpose to understand the underlying problem.
