GCC (Global core component factory) in Lund delivers plates and gaskets to all internal and external customers from manufacturing units.
About the job
You will belong to our Plan department which are one of three groups in Supply Chain: Plan, Source and Deliver. As Team Leader you will both lead a team of approximately 5 co-workers in a tactical way and execute work as a functional competence.
The daily work consists of operational planning and making sure we plan our business in the best way possible based on customer needs and available resources. The team will handle both standard orders and more complex project orders.
Our common goal is to secure and increase the Responsiveness of GCC by long term development of processes and co-workers towards highly set standards. ALPS (Alfa Laval Production System) is the foundation for how we run our business.
Your main responsibilities besides the daily work are to:
* Monitor processes and performance in the team with focus on customer service
* Act as a link between the team, support functions and team manager
* Develop the key processes and tools and work towards continuous improvement
* Close competence gaps by training/coaching and running SOP audit dialogues
* Control quality and deviations together with the team
* When needed, support team members with immediate problem solving.
You will report to the Plan Team Manager and be based in Lund.

What you can
You have minimum 5 years of strong hands-on working experience in Supply Chain preferable from production planning. We believe you have a graduate degree in Engineering, preferably with a Logistic, Supply Chain or equivalent orientation. You have hands on experience in production planning and planning of resource groups, as well as Master Planning. You are also familiar with Sales and Operations Planning. Lean experience and background are desirable.
Fluent in written and oral English is a requirement while Swedish is a plus. Experience from Microsoft Dynamics is a merit.
