The Audio Systems group within the Driver Interaction & Infotainment department is responsible for HW-, SW- and System development of all audio functionality in the cars. Apart from the sound systems (amplifier and speakers) the responsibility also includes systems like Active Noise Control, Microphones, Bluetooth Handsfree and Exterior Sound for Hybrid vehicles. Project Management and Audio Tuning is also part of the group's responsibilities. Our daily work includes transforming ideas into innovations to meet the high standards of future vehicles. We use the latest technologies and advanced methods within the audio field and with the launch of the all new audio content in the new SPA platform, we are in the forefront of audio technology in cars. Today the team consists of around dedicated 20 engineers.

As a Team Leader you hold a key role and will lead an internal development team to secure the needed deliveries to the projects. You will work with the latest technology in the infotainment and audio area in which technologies evolve continually in order to meet customers' future requirements. The role involves a wide range of tasks such as planning and monitoring the specifications, implementation and verification of audio functionality according to the project's implementation plans. As a Team Leader you have an important role in leading the cross functional system development team and ensuring the team deliveries of world class audio systems. The progress is reported to the projects through program managers. The work is carried out in close cooperation with suppliers which means daily international contacts. In order to be successful you will need a great deal of personal driving force and determination, as well as being able to get the team to cooperate in the best possible way. Securing a broad cross-functional network within the organization is also crucial to be successful in the role.

Main responsibilities

* Lead the team meetings
* Lead, plan and monitor your and your team's deliveries according to the anchored project plans
* Summarize and present the deliveries to our internal customers

Required qualifications

* University degree in computer, electrical or mechanical engineering or equal competence level achieved by long term experience
* Audio knowledge but not necessarily from the automotive industry

* Documented leadership experience from assignment leadership within automotive and/or electronics engineering is meritorious
* Experience from SW development is meritorious
* Excellent English skills, verbally and in writing
