Team Leader for Cab Interior and Exterior Panels

Volvo Construction Equipment, a business area within the Volvo Group, is one of the world's leading manufacturers of construction equipment such as wheel loaders, excavators, articulated haulers, road development equipment and compact equipment. Production facilities are located in Europe, Asia, North America and Latin America You will lead the team that is responsible for the design of cab interior for our machines. The cab is an important part of the complete machine and it is of great importance to our customer. It is today perceived as one of the best on the market and we intend to strengthen this position. Your area of responsibility will be: Interior Plastic Panels Exterior Plastic Panels Fit and Finish Geometrical assurance Responsibility: You will have the following responsibilities: Together with the development engineers in the team create design solutions that fulfil all the demands that are specified in the development projects Plan the activities in the team in order to keep agreed deliveries in the project Plan and drive AE (Advanced Engineering) activities in the team Follow the technology development within the responsibility area Together with the design manager map the need for competence development within the team Experience: We think that you have a university education within the area of R&D or comparable experience. You shall have experience of interior plastic design and preferably experience from the automotive industries.
