Position Purpose: To provide applications support and database administration to the business community in Stockholm and be Team Leader for the Swedish IT Team The Role: - All DBA tasks on SQL and Oracle database instances - Provide IT support on all Intertek business systems - Be the IT responsible for all business applications, both packaged and in-house developed - Meet internal service levels - Be IT Team Leader for the Swedish IT Team of 5 employees - Be the Sweden lead on global, group wide IT projects - Report to the global IT management team - Ensure the Company's IT Policies are understood and adhered to - Perform other work as required - Generally assist the business in making effective use of IT Personal Skills: - 2 years experience, working in a similar environment - Good standard of education and/or relevant technical experience - Must have a flexible approach towards working hours. Occasional weekend and evening work is required - Must be out going and confident, with a service attitude, as this is a user/client facing position - Must be able and willing to travel to other Intertek locations both within EMEA and worldwide - Able to work under pressure from both users and the IT unit - Presentable - A good organiser - Good written and verbal English communication skills and be able to deliver clear messages to all levels of employees - Must be a team player - Come from a commercial rather than a scientific background Technical Skills: - Understanding of Microsoft Windows XP and Office 2003. - Must have previous experience supporting the IFS application - MS Sharepoint support and development - IIS - Internet Information Services - Qlikview Preferd skills: Must have previous DBA experience supporting SQL server (2000 and 2005) and Oracle v10 - MS Access support and debugging - MS Visual Studio (2003, 2005) - .NET (c#) - ASP (3.0) - HTML - Qlikview - Javascript - PL/SQL - VBA
