Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.
We are looking for a new Team Leader for manufacturing IT!
In your role as a team leader within manufacturing IT (MOM/MES), you will get the experience and contact networks that make it possible to take further career steps within Scania IT. The mix of leadership, organization, and technology provides a perfect springboard to move towards a group manager position in IT in a few years.
Your main responsibilities as Team Leader
Together with your team, you are responsible for ensuring that all functional improvement and maintenance activities are carried out with quality and according to the customer's short-term and long-term needs. In short, this means the following:
• Build a team culture based on the principles of coaching leadership and self-selection.
• Lead and develop maintenance team within the system platform Apriso.
• Work closely with Scania's production operations and understand how it works and what it needs.
• Drive and improve the development process for your team of developers, architects, and database administrators.
• Follow up on the delivery area as a whole and take proactive actions.
• Together with other team leaders and scrum masters in the MES field, work to improve and implement common methods and ways of working.
Your profile as Team Leader
You have at least 2-5 years of experience of previous work as a Scrum Master, Team Leader, or maintenance manager. You have a great commitment and a drive to deliver and improve.
To be successful in this role you have the will and courage to lead others in groups with a coaching approach and with the ability to clear obstacles. You can also create good conditions for others to grow.
Furthermore, you are structured, self-propelled, and enjoy working in change towards a long-term goal. You are good at communicating and collaborating with others and have good stakeholder management skills. You should have a university degree in IT, or relevant professional experience, as well as great interest and experience in working with agile methods for system development. You express yourself well in speech and writing in both Swedish and English.
