Team leader for Power Distribution

Our teams are responsible for the development of power systems for Saab Surveillance's all ground and sea radar systems. We are now in the successful situation that we have very many customers who want our solutions and we therefore need more people to grow our business.



Your role

We are now looking for the next leader for our teams. The team leader will coordinate the work within the teams, as well as together with the project management plan and coordinate the deliveries in the projects.



The person acting in this role has the following responsibility:

Coordinate resources and progress to establish technical relevant design and production results

Develop electronics plans and conduct electronics decision points
*

Ensure that there are agreed working methods for the team
*

Facilitate, prioritize and support the teams in the daily work



Your profile

The role requires documented leadership capabilities, as well as technical competence within electronical design. Strong delivery focus, alongside the ability to deliver according to high standards of quality, are important skills to succeed. You have a Technical University degree or similar.



This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.



What you will be a part of

Surveillance provides efficient solutions for safety and security, for surveillance and decision support, and for threat detection and protection. The portfolio covers airborne, ground-based and naval radar, electronic warfare, combat systems and C4I solutions, and traffic management systems.



The Engineering department is responsible for product development and spans technology areas like microwaves and antennas, digital functions, software development, printed circuit boards, producibility, mechanical design, power electronics, cabling, computer systems etc.



The hardware design unit Power Distribution within the Electronic and Embedded department is design responsible for all the products in the support systems in land and naval applications. The unit has around 20 employees in Gothenburg.
