Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

The Global Order Office are responsibile for the Order management of Truck, Bus & Coaches, Power solutions and Component flows. Our responsibility is to allocate incoming orders and to coordinate expectations and needs from both Customers and Industrial operation. We operate in complex environement in a central role, where we often are faced with new questions and opportunities to support the whole Scania organisation. 

We are a group of 15 members, divided into two teams. One of our Team leaders is now moving on to new challenges within Scania and we are looking for a replacement.

Work description

As our new team leader, you will be a key player in Scania's Supply Chain managment process. You will be responsible to guide and lead the Order Office team in a complex landscape with information flows both from Scania's Industrial and Commercial organisation. 

The main task is to lead the daily operation in your team, to make sure we have the right information and capacity to execute our daily delivery. You will be acting both as a Gatekeeper and a Spokesperson for the team.

Your responsibility is to actively work to develop and coach the team members and to build a motivating team spirit. The teamleader also coordinate our improvement work in close cooperation with OPs development team. 

Other tasks involve analyses and reports to management, active participation in different projects related to improving the Order management process and tools as well as operational issues connected to order allocations and informational pulse meetings.

Working at the Order Office is to work with people, the position will give you a wide contact network at all levels of the company and therefore communication skills and a service-minded approach are very important. 

 

Your profile

We are looking for a person with a positive attitude and a high level of responsibility. It’s important that you are self-motivated, can work independently, and have good analytical skills. Communication and coordination are essential in daily work. Preferably, you have a university degree, and you are fluent in English. You are confident with MS Office tools (esp. Excel). Furthermore, an interest in data analytics (e.g. Power BI), as well as former work experience, is highly valued.
