Are you our future colleague in the Intermodal team that will help us take the department in Scandinavia to the next level?
This position is perfect for someone that is responsible, knowledgeable within the segment and eager to come up with, present and drive ideas forward. Today you may be working for a haulage or trucking company and are ready to take the knowledge and experience you have to another segment in the supply chain process. You have the ability to look into the future and see new business potential that will help evolve our Intermodal department. You will report to our COO who will also help you to take your thoughts from idea to action and be your go to person to discuss the development of the Intermodal service we deliver. Together with three service-minded colleagues that are anxious to develop the “product” even further you make up a close-knit and energized team.
Your main responsibilities would be:
• To take initiatives towards cost savings and service improvement by continuously looking for ways to improve the level of logistics. You will do this by analysing potential investments, accessing the risks, and implementing the improvements.
• To manage the performance of the Intermodal (Rail/Road) activities in Scandinavian and ensure that such performance is of high quality and in line with procedures issued by CMA-CGM’s head office.
• To be responsible for the Intermodal reporting to the local management and to Head office in Marseille.
• To take initiatives towards improving efficiency by liaising with other departments or offices as required.
• To negotiate agreements with land operating suppliers in the area(s) of jurisdiction.
• To act as Team Leader for the members of the Intermodal Department
• To coordinate the work and workload within the team
• To implement actions and instructions from management (HO and Local)
• To continuously develop the various routines within the department including the use of EDI, in order to reduce costs and time spent on various daily tasks and reporting.
• To work with reporting and KPIs, ensuring that these are updated regularly, and to monitor agreed service levels and drive continuous improvement by frequently accessing processes and flows

Our preferred candidate has the following skills and qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the land transport industry
• Experience of transport and price negotiations
• Experience in 3P Logistics
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills, including active listening
• Strong business acumen
• Can readily adapt to new initiatives and changes
• Effective written and oral communication skills in Swedish and English
