Background
We are looking for an experienced team leader / team manager with a developer background to join one of our customers as acting team manager and take responsibility for a customer's agile development team (Storefront team). The team is partly responsible for frontend development at our customer's central e-commerce site, but it also has a lot of backend tasks, such as user management, shopping baskets, and so on. The team currently consists of six developers and a product owner who is in charge of, among other things, back-log priorities. The team is split roughly 50/50 between front and back end expertise. As a team leader, you are also a developer, and you are welcome to have front-end development experience.
Back-end developers may also be suitable for the role if the profile is otherwise suitable. Our customer is on a change journey in which the organization is growing.
Requirement
Experience leading agile teams with delivery responsibility in a changing environment
Used to assisting in the development of team processes and personnel
Extensive experience reviewing delivery expectations in relation to resource requirements
Working knowledge of continuous improvement, retrofitting, and other similar techniques.
Used to collaborating with an independent product owner and competing with others
In a line organization, team leaders
Background in development (frontend primarily then React)
Outstanding merit
