For our RCS Division in Stockholm, we are currently looking to recruit a Team Leader, Onboard Tools!

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Team Leader for Onboard Tools manages the key development Tools and Test Environments executed by the team in place. The Team Leader is responsible for resource allocation, quality assurance, and coordination of work packages.

The main product at hand is the Onboard Test Environment. The Onboard PC Test Environment is a train and track simulator used for simulating the surroundings of the onboard signalling system and consists of many simulators. The simulators and testing framework are developed in C++ and C#, using Eclipse and Visual Studio.

You will be the first line manager, and directly responsible for a team of 5-8 SW engineers, testers, and integrators. The Team Leader also has a 50% senior developer contribution. He/She contributes to the development process with technical solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND CHALLENGES
- Leading the SW development team: both from a technical perspective, as SW developer, and from a leadership perspective
- Managing the Tools Roadmap: mapping out the tools framework and deciding what tools to continue with or phase out
- Transfer of knowledge: Build up of Tools in other sites (India, Bangkok, Poland)
- Keep up the technical competence of the product and SW development team
- Software architecture decisions impacting long term development of tools

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum: Bachelor?s of Science in Computer Sciences or comparable education
- Experience in SW development with C++ and C#: minimum of 5 years
- Fluency in English is a requirement, Swedish is a plus
- Experience working with ERTMS and ATP applications is a strong advantage
- Knowledge of SW testing is also an advantage
