Responsibilities
In this position, you will work together with and take the team lead role for the Test Engineers in our System and Configuration Software teams located in Sweden and Russia. You will also drive continuous improvements and take leadership for setting future system software test strategies.
As a Team Leader for Software Test Engineer you will play an important role in our agile teams where you will be involved in development from early concepts to final release to customer.
In addition, your role will include:
· Lead the definition of test strategies for our products in collaboration with System and Software Architects including:
o Automated functional and non-functional tests, on user/system-, integration- and component level
o Manual functional tests on user/system level
· Developing and implementing test automation frameworks supporting the test strategies
· Defining test plans and development of test cases following the product test strategy
· Coordinating and leading test activities performed at external test partners
· Test execution, analysis of results and suggestions for improvements
Requirements
We are looking for you with a genuine interest in software testing who also possess great leadership skills. You have a degree from IT, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering. In addition, you have several years of experience in the software development/testing domain and you are proficient in written and spoken English. You are creative, result oriented, open minded and it comes natural for you to collaborate with and mentor people around you.
You should have documented professional experience of software test automation and have knowledge of one or more Test Automation frameworks/tools e.g. Selenium/ RobotFramework/Cucumber/Gherkin/Python.
It is a merit if you have experience of Microsoft Windows OS and Azure environments as well as containerization platforms like Docker and Kubernetes, and have used methods like Test Driven Development (TDD), Behavior Driven Development (BDD).
