What's in it for you?
SW and Electronics Platform is a unit within R&D which for example includes departments Electrical Infrastructure, Common base technologies, Core System Platform, Core system Components and Core System Electrical Integration. The ART Common Base Technologies include SW deployment technologies, vehicle platform services, start and electrical energy management as well as cyber security and communications. Common Base Technologies deliveries are common among many ARTs and therefore important to align for complexity reduction, cost and speed

We are expanding our workforce and therefore looking for a Team Manager to strengthen the management team and You will be working with a group of skilled engineers.  Partly new formed teams and partly stable and mature teams. They are engaged in development and roll-out of next generation base technology functions.

What you’ll do
You’ll help the engineers in your team by removing obstacles and helping them grow. You’ll contribute to agile ways of working, through technical leadership, prioritization, and close collaboration with product managers, scrum masters, other teams and executives. You are a person that have adopted a lean agile mind-set, applied a servant leadership, have good communication skills and can collaborate well with Volvo Cars internal stakeholders.

The team’s tasks will span all the way from early concepts to rolling out large-scale and high-quality products. 

Who are you 
We think you have a Master of Science or equivalent work life experience and technical knowledge in the area of Electrical Engineering or SW Engineering. Leader experience from development of functions, systems and components. You have experience in people management, cross-functional collaboration, large-scale system design, and hands-on software development. Strong people management, collaboration and communication skills are essential when working in a diverse and international setting.
