What is in it for you?

Are you a skilled leader who loves to work with people, coach them in their development and help them grow? Direct Material Procurement Interior, responsible for all interior components. 
is now looking for a Team Manager for our Seats, Occupant Safety & Surface Materials.
The team consists of 16 buyers and its responsibility covers strategic work, sourcing, as well as running tasks to secure day-to-day operations within some of the company’s most strategic areas.

You will be part of the Direct Material Procurement management team and report directly to the Senior Director for Procurement Interior.

What you’ll do

As a team manager, you will develop, support, and coach the team in the daily work to bring out the best of the team members and let them grow. 
You will be in close cooperation with the Category Manager and the other global team leaders to secure the best global sourcing synergies and results.

Your main responsibilities will include:

-    Developing and coaching both, the individual employees, as well as the team to ensure ownership for their area of responsibility and expected deliveries.
-    Human Resource responsibility for the group such as recruitment, new employee introduction, competence development, and salary setting.
-    Cooperation with internal, as well as external contacts. 

Do you fit the profile?

We believe that you have experience from leading people, preferability experience from a managerial position for at least 4 years, as well as strong business acumen, drive, and ambition with great negotiation skills. 
You have good communication skills in English and preferably experience in purchasing. Moreover, you have a commercial or technical university degree.
You are self-aware and thrive when leading through purpose. We want to see a strong desire to bring out the best in people. You are supporting an environment where diverse opinions count, where we collaborate cross-functionally to be early involved in the product development, make sure we launch flawless products, and continuously improve efficiency and quality in running
You are comfortable leading and inspiring even when things are not certain.
