Within Supply Chain Development Area Market Logistics, we are involved in several transformation initiatives and lead and coordinate all supply activities related to the successful establishment of the IKEA concept in new markets, across IKEA Supply.
About the job
The assignment includes:
Take lead for the supply related activities as enabling a successful and timely entry to a new IKEA market
Take lead and interact with relevant governance structure to prepare and secure relevant and timely decisions as relating to the IKEA expansion plan and IKEA expansion process
Taking lead for supply related input to the IKEA expansion plan and IKEA expansion process
Lead the sub-area team within SCD Area Market Logistics to attract, recruit and develop highly competent and inspired co-workers
Secure successful cooperation with stakeholders in Inter IKEA Group and Retail
Within assigned scope, take an active role to support and contribute the business and competence development in the SCD Area

About You
We are looking for a person with in-depth knowledge and understanding of the IKEA supply chain and related business processes.
More specifically, we wish that you have:
Experience and positive track record of IKEA leadership, in formal and informal assignments
Extensive knowledge and understanding of the IKEA business model, concept, strategic landscape and IKEA Ways of working, through extensive work experience on tactical and operational level from different parts of the IKEA value chain
In-depth knowledge of the IKEA Expansion Process and related ways of working
Broad knowledge and understanding of the total IKEA value chain and dependencies to other core processes
Experience in project management
Fluent in English
