Team Manager Biosafety

As Team Manager at Vironova Biosafety you will lead a team of 4 highly qualified and experienced scientifice experts. You will be part of a growing company group in an exciting phase, expanding and scaling up to meet the increased global market demand.



Your main tasks and responsibilities:

- To lead and develop your team members
- To collaborate with other functions to drive business and help generate increased revenue
- Be the first contact in scientific discissions with the customers and finalizing the scientific quotations
- Develop the unit scientifically
- Act as a Study Director when needed
- Be Test Facility Manager for the Biosafety lab
- Participate at the congresses within Viral clearance field when needed




What you need to succeed:

You need to have a business orientated approach and an interest to lead and develop others. Probably you have a few years experience as a leader in a similar role. You have knowledge in basic laboratory work (chromatography, cell cultivation, virus cultivation, nanofiltration etc) and are able to participate in the laboratory work from time to time. You have good understanding and ability to write and review scientific reports. You speak and write both English and Swedish fluently.

Vironova Biosafety AB is a subsidary to Vironova AB, which was founded in 2005 as a result of interdisciplinary research at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden Today it is a fast growing company group with around 130 employees including subsidiaries. Vironova AB offers unique services for nanoparticle characterization together with our software solutions (VAS) for advanced electron microscopy image analysis, viral clearance studies in our own lab and a tabletop TEM system (MiniTEM) which enables automated image acquisition and data analysis for Life Sciences applications (e.g. gene therapy).
