About us
The purpose of Car Service Operations is to enable an effortless car usage and service experience. The automotive industry is currently under-going a significant transformation driven by changing consumer behaviors, technology shifts and digitalization.
The team Service Technology within Car Service Operations is responsible for making life less complicated for consumers. How? By supplying service providers with safe, sustainable and efficient car service technology solutions in the areas of spare parts, maintenance & repair instructions as well as tools & equipment. The environment we operate in is undergoing a great transformation, not only from a vehicle technology perspective, but also how our consumers set expectations on the complete experience around mobility.
About the role
We operate as an Agile Release Train (ART) and need talented people on board. People with passion, energy, business sense and the drive to innovate and change the car usage experience. This may be an excellent opportunity for you to take on a new challenge! We are searching for an engaged Team Manager with perceptive leadership skills. To succeed in this role, we believe you need a passion for leading and developing others, enjoy empowering people and embrace an agile mindset and culture.
What you’ll do
You will be Team Manager for team members that are technical experts in developing service technology for global use. A responsibility that goes all the way from creation of technical service solutions to information creation and implementation in the markets.
As Team Manager you have the formal responsibility of working environment, performance rating and salaries. You will also lead the competence development of your team members as well as develop and maintain a People plan together with other Team Managers. This is to match our product roadmap for the short, mid and long term.
Your further responsibilities are to support and develop the organization and culture, as well as staffing our product teams so they can meet current and future demands in our ongoing commercial transformation.
As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for three teams and work close together with other agile leaders. A Product Owner who focuses on technology and priorities and a Scrum Master who focuses on optimizing processes and team development.
You will also be a member of the management team at our ART. We believe that we are stronger as a team and we share the responsibility of developing our products and our product teams.
You and your skills
We believe you have a University Degree or equivalent experience and are fluent in English (written and spoken). You are already a leader, preferrable from automotive industry, and are used to develop others by coaching and mentoring. Having experience from leading people working within technical development is qualifying for the position. You should have experience and good understanding of Agile Frameworks and Agile ways of working.
We are looking for a leader with excellent communication skills that create clarity and an open and trusting environment. You are result driven and structured in your approach.

As a person, you are passionate about developing your team members to become the best version of themselves. You are inclusive, team oriented and customer focused. You are curious and have the desire to continuously search for new knowledge and areas to develop.
Your ability to understand purpose and business objectives and translate them to actions in terms of attracting, recruiting and developing people and competences in the teams is a success factor in this role.
