We are now in the search for a Data & Analytics Team Manager with strong domain understanding and inspired by leading and developing others.

What you’ll do
As a Team Manager you will lead the Data & Insights Specialists and will be working with competences cross our Digital Units, Product Areas and Teams to succeed in delivering business value by turning Data into Insights. Together with your team, you will be fostering and enabling standards and best practices for Digital Units, Products and Business areas to accelerate their value journey through Self-Service data & analytics, and to accomplish “insights at the fingertips” for Volvo Car Group.
You will be building a home for experts through fostering and developing skills and expertise required within the Data & Analytics specialists role. You will develop people and ensure people’s professional growth and career paths, ensure that continuous alignment and feedback are part of our culture. Educate people and products how to work with data and visualization.
You and your skills
As a leader with strong communication and presentation skills, you know how to influence and organize people and activities into an efficient workflow. You have the know how to leverage data for efficient decisions. You are a clear thinker who anticipates and develops strategies for anticipated future consequences and trends. During your career, you have developed skills and experience for efficient facilitation in different formats and scenarios.
We believe you have 5+ years of working experience within Enterprise data at scale, Business Intelligence and Analytics, preferably partly hands-on. You have experience from leadership roles and have been leading people in your previous roles. You have knowledge and experience from working within large organisations utilizing agile methodologies such as SAFE, Scrum and/or Kanban. Preferably, you have knowledge about both centralized and decentralized organizational models related to Insights, such as Data Mesh architecture. You have a BSc/MSc, or equivalent training in Computer Science or other relevant subject area.
