HR Services provides globally consistent HR advisory and specialist services to Sandvik employees and line managers across all business areas (BA). The recruitment function within HR Services has the mission of ensuring that Sandvik attracts, selects and recruits candidates that match Sandvik's requirements and future business needs. We are now looking for a customer focused Team Manager to lead, build and develop a strong senior recruitment team, with the aim to deliver world-class recruitment services to all of Sandvik companies in Sweden, Norway and Denmark and to work towards agreed objectives in keeping with ONE Sandvik.
In this position, you will be located in Sandviken along with the team, which consists of about 20 people working as Recruiting Specialists, Copywriters, Recruiting Administrators and Contract Administrators.
Key performance areas
As Team Manager for Recruitment, you ensure that we have the appropriate expertise to deliver an excellent recruiting service to managers within the entire Sandvik group in the Nordic region. You have the overall responsibility for the recruitment function and assure a working environment that allows the team to constantly evolve and learn from each other. To enhance the development of the team, you work closely with other Team Managers within HR Services and the Process Developer within the recruitment team. Based on Lean principles, you lead your team in line with set processes and standards utilized by HR Services globally, and you cooperate with HR Business Partners, unions and site representatives to continuously improve the recruiting service.
In this role, you are an active part of the HR Services Management team and report to the Head of HR Services Nordic.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in an area relevant to the role, who understands the character of recruitment and who has at least five years' experience of people management. We expect that your background includes working in a leading role within HR, or a similar area, and experience from working in a large global organization is advantageous. To be successful in this role, you should previously have worked in a process-driven organization, and are experienced and comfortable with leading a senior team. Good computer skills and proficiency in MS Office are prerequisites and, as we work in an international setting, you must communicate fluently in English and Swedish, both in speaking and writing.
