Who are we
Connected Experience is an unit within R&D which includes Connectivity Platform, Infotainment, Car Cloud and Remote Functions, Vehicle Data & Diagnostics as well as HW and Mechatronics.

The ART Infotainment delivers in-house developed SW in the infotainment domain (driver info, vehicle functions, navi, assistant, base tech etc).

Our mission is to provide a state-of-the-art infotainment system based on Android and Google Automotive Services with frequent deliveries to keep us in the leading position.

The team is primarily located in Gothenburg & Lund, Sweden.

We are now looking for an experienced Team Manager for our Gothenburg or Lund Engineering team. You will be working with a group of skilled engineers who are currently engaged in development and roll-out of new infotainment functionality. 

What you’ll do
You’ll help the engineers in your team by removing obstacles and helping them grow. You’ll contribute to agile ways of working, through technical leadership, prioritization and close collaboration with product managers, scrum masters, other teams and executives. You are a person that have adopted a lean agile mind-set, applied a servant leadership, have good communication skills and can collaborate well with Volvo Cars internal stakeholders.

The team’s tasks will span all the way from early concepts to rolling out large-scale and high-quality products. You will work with teams across the company, across the globe, across many functions, such as user experience, product management, and business development, and with external companies.

You and your skills
We are looking for an experienced software engineering manager, who have previously built and led software engineering teams. You have experience in people management, cross-functional collaboration, large-scale system design and hands-on software development. You would carry a degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Strong people management, collaboration and communication skills are essential when working in a diverse and international setting. 

You would be inclusive, communicative, team oriented and customer focused. You are curious and have the desire to continuously search for new knowledge and areas to develop. You are results driven, self motivated as well as find new and better ways of working. Furthermore, you have a hands-on (learn by doing) approach in solving problems.
