Team Manager Machine Validation

Dynapac rollers (both soil and asphalt), are used in road construction working areas all around the world, normally in very harsh environments with high demands on safety, reliability and productivity. We are now looking for a Team Manager for our Machine Validation team to maintain and develop our knowledge and practices within the competence area of the team while seeking further development through synergies between the competences.
You will be responsible for the Machine Validation Team, in total about 14 people, both white and blue collar. Competence areas for the team are Structural Analysis, Measurement Technology, Testing and Prototype workshop. You will report directly to the Design & Development Manager Rollers.
Among the tasks:
Reporting of team activities to D&D manager
Plan and secure resources for ongoing projects and product improvement activities
Together with the team establish and develop methodologies and processes
Support Lead Engineer Application in the work to convert our application knowledge to customer value
Monitoring of technology and market trends

Experience requirements
We expect that you have previous experience as Team Manager or other similar leading position
Experience of work within Structural Analysis and/or Measurement Technology areas is meriting
Knowledge
Knowledge in any of the following areas of technology is an advantage:
Structural Analysis
Dynamic simulations
Measurement technology and methodology
Rollers or other similar construction machinery

Educational requirements
You have a Master of Science degree within relevant area or equivalent work experience.
Personality requirements
A good leadership is key in this position, and you have a strong ability to lead and develop teams. You plan and work in a systematic and organized way and drive activities to deliver result. Further, you think broad, are open to new ideas and have an ability to drive continuous improvements.
