Team Manager Mechanical Engineering

Dynapac rollers (both soil and asphalt), are used in road construction working areas all around the world, normally in very harsh environments with high demands on safety, reliability and productivity. We are now looking for a Team Manager to lead our Mechanical Engineering team and develop our knowledge and practices within Mechanical Engineering while optimizing our usage of offshore resources (Fayatec).
You will be responsible for the Mechanical Engineering Team, in total about 10 people. You will report directly to the Design & Development Manager Rollers.
The Mechanical Engineering team is responsible for the following areas:
Drivers environment, including Cab
Frames and structures
Drums and eccentrics
Sprinkler and scraper systems
Integration of sub systems developed by Systems Engineering Team

Among the tasks:
Reporting of team activities to D&D manager
Plan and secure resources for ongoing projects and product improvement activities
Establish and develop methodologies and processes within Mechanical Engineering
Developing and securing a good cooperation with our engineering center in Bangalore (Fayatec)
Monitoring of technology and market trends

Experience requirements
We expect relevant experience of work within Mechanical Engineering
Previous experience as team manager or other similar leading positions is a plus
Knowledge
Knowledge in any of the following areas of technology is an advantage:
CAD/PDM systems
Rollers or other similar construction machinery

Educational requirements
You have a Master of Science degree within relevant area or equivalent work experience.
Personality requirements
A good leadership is key in this position, and you have a strong ability to lead and develop teams, both locally and in an international environment.
