IKEA Core Business Supply is responsible for securing that the product offer is produced and delivered to our customers. We lead the supply agenda across many functions and work together with all business areas, different business units, but also retail markets to secure customer availability in all markets and sales channels at lowest total cost.
Supply Chain Development (SCD) is one of the business units in Core Business Supply and we are on an exciting journey! By gathering the end-to-end supply chain development and innovation agenda into one organization, embedding management and development of processes and digital solutions into the business, we will meet the future with the right competences and business capabilities.
Within the SCD area of Design & Planning we work with securing that we have an optimal network design and are accountable to reach agreed service level by leading the inventory management agenda.
About the assignment
We are now looking for Team Managers that will lead a team of Need Planners in taking full responsibility for Service Level, Inventory level and the stock structure in their assigned range.
As Team Manager you will, among other assignments:
• Contribute to developing competences: Identify needs and build competence plans to meet the short- and long-term business needs
• Lead by example, coaching and motivating your team and co-workers
• Take the lead within Sales & Supply Planning and collaborate with all value chain partners to secure agreed service levels at lowest total cost
• Secure and support in implementing common and new ways of working and collaborate with stakeholders within IKEA value chain
About you
You are highly motivated to lead business through people; collaborate and interact with different stakeholders. Naturally so! As business in IKEA is done through people. You are a strong businessperson with a passion for supply chain planning, logistics and leading a global assignment.
You have proven experience and knowledge in:
- Leading business through people by demonstrating leadership capabilities and always with IKEA values close to heart
- Academic degree within supply, economic, engineering or corresponding experience
- Delivering results through involvement and engagement of stakeholders
- Building trust and relationships in business
- Capability to inspire and create sense of togetherness, belonging and trust within a team
- Clear communication and by this build trust and relationships
- Strong knowledge of IKEA leadership and team dynamics
- Knowledge of Sales Planning and Product development process
