Vattenfall Business Services Nordic is an internal provider of support functions for the Vattenfall Business Units within the Nordic region.We are a shared service center, and our mission is to deliver cost effective and value added services to the Nordic Business Units and Business Group functions. ComServices Editorial Office seeks a team manager for News & Features ComServices provides communication services within Vattenfall Nordic and to Group Communications.We currently provide editorial services for both internal and external internet channels, media monitoring, analysis and intelligence services plus market communication services. ComServices Editorial falls under Vattenfall Nordic and parts of the group wide editorial office.We produce content for websites and publications and manage several Vattenfall websites.The editorial office is to be developed and structured into three teams and we are therefore seeking a team manager for News & Features.Your role You will be responsible for organising and developing News & Features operations and have management responsibility for the employees in the team.The team will produce content for Vattenfall publications, websites and other media work.Where time permits, you can also produce your own content.You will plan the work done by resources in close contact with other members of the editorial office such as channel coordinators and the head of news.Personnel management for operations, including forecast and budget work, invoicing and follow up.Developing your team members, processes and organisation with the aim of being more effective and providing quality assurance. You will meet the resource needs of News & Features with your own staff or via sub contractors.In close partnership with other senior managers within the Editorial Office, you will strive to work as One Editorial Office delivering coordinated communications of high quality.You will also produce your own material.The team manager reports to the head of the Editorial Office.About you You are a university trained (or equivalent) journalist/communicator with editorial office experience, probably in a senior capacity.You have experience of and enjoy motivating and developing employees. We consider experience of working in large organisations as an advantage.Fluent spoken and written English is a must.Finnish or Danish would be very advantageous.As an individual you are goal oriented and able to take responsibility, a problem solver who understands the importance of order.You will play an active role in developing One Editorial Office, supporting Vattenfall's aims and being a part of developing Shared Services.Based in Stockholm, Råcksta.
