The Role: We are looking for a committed and driven Team Manager for one of Recorded Future’s Platform teams in Gothenburg, Sweden. The Platform line organization is knowledge-based and divided into several cross-functional product teams responsible for core parts of the Recorded Future platform such as internal API:s, data storage, indexing and code infrastructure. What you'll do as a Platform Team Manager:
Staff Management - hiring, people management, carry out development talks and performance reviews, run team meetings, define resources and competence needs, recruitment of employees and external contractors
We work in cross functional teams and you will be managing one of these teams
Management of incoming questions, requests and bug reports from various parts of the organization like Support or the Data Science.
Work with our Product Management team to define requirements
Processes - collaborate on tune / define, document and implement processes, ensure the teams’ adherence to established processes
What you'll bring to the Platform Team Manager role:
Recent experience in managing and leading a team of Engineers with focus on software development, preferably with focus on backend functionality
Recent experience in agile coaching / project management or task coordination
Love working with product development and making sure that we improve everyday.
High-level technology understanding in areas such as backend technologies, architecture etc
Ability to take initiatives and collaborate across teams in the Product & Engineering organization and other teams as relevant throughout the company
Enjoy working in a fast moving scale-up environment
Good communication skills, fluent language skills in English, Swedish is good but not required
