Where You’ll Belong
The newly created ART Power Electronics HW will deliver the power electronics for all derivatives of electric propulsions within Vehicle Propulsion. This includes the development of Electric Drive inverters, on-board chargers and DC/DCs in both concept and in industrialization phase.

Then the role as Team Manager for the group Power Conversion Design & Validation within the ART Power Electronics Hardware is the perfect challenge for you. You will lead a group that is responsible for developing in-house state-of-the-art power electronic solutions from on-board chargers to DC/DCs.

The group consists of two scrum teams driving the development of competitive power conversion solutions. We offer an exciting career opportunity right in the heart of electrification at Volvo Cars. You and the team's focus is to advance the electric propulsion technology development. You ensure the work environment for the team and set objectives, do performance reviews and salary setting for your team members. You also ensure competence development and recruitment to assure highly skilled individuals with the right competence in line with our long-term technical strategies. 

Also, you contribute with a strong sense of customer focus and business acumen in management forums as well in co-operations with fellow colleagues, team members and suppliers. Your contribution is very important regarding the department's future business direction and results. 

Competence is Important
•    M.Sc. or equivalent technical experience 
•    Experience in Product Development
•    Documented leadership qualities and experiences

You are flexible and enjoy changes as you will be working in a fast-paced, intellectually challenging environment.  You are an experienced problem solver, looking for a bigger business challenge. As a person, you also apply creative thinking to issues and analyze qualitative and quantitative research data. 

You are a self-starter with a pioneering spirit; resourceful and able to take ownership quickly and reliably. You have an ability to lead through people, listen and coach. You are energetic and truly motivated by creating new solutions together with the cross-functional team.
