Team Manager Storage & Virtual Infrastructure

We are in the midst of a major transformation of Swedbank’s IT infrastructure, and have started a competence shift from infrastructure engineering to software development, with focus on service automation, new storage and virtualisation technology, moving towards working cloud as easy and secure as today’s in-house solutions. In parallel, we continue supporting Swedbank’s major business and tech initiatives with a strong customer focus. We are looking for a Team Manager for our two teams of world class Storage & Virtual Infrastructure competence.
In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
- Be instrumental in your teams’ success by being close to them day to day, as well as drive long term competence development with a customer centric perspective
- Collaborate tightly with Product Managers and tech partners to support we are moving in the right direction short and long term
- Build a close relation and cooperation across all tech and business areas
- Deliver towards challenging goals with a lot of mandate and freedom to reach these goals and ensure we continue provide our 7 million customers cross Sweden and Baltics with stable future proof infrastructure services

What is needed in this role:
- Leadership experience from a managerial role, great if you have worked with technical teams
- A strong drive to succeed through others using servant leadership, giving your people incentives to grow
- Excellent stakeholder management, your teams will be instrumental in supporting the bank transitioning into new infrastructure, meaning strong communication skills, business understanding, and customer focus is needed.
- Understanding of agile theory, practices, and roles
- Experience from recruitment
- Ability to coordinate and make things happen
- Fluency in both Swedish and English as your teams live in Sweden and Estonia
