In the Hardware & Mechatronics department within the Unit Connected Experience, we transform ideas into innovations to meet the high standards of connected vehicles – both present and future. Now we are looking for curious, creative people who want to change the world through innovative thinking – specifically a passionate Team Manager.

In the ecosystem of the connected experience that we provide to our customers, our teams are responsible for Hardware and Antennas that enable wireless communication including mounting them efficiently and safely. We develop, integrate and verify integrated and distributed antennas for over the air and satellite radio, GNSS, WiFi, BT, cellular communication (3G, 4G 5G), V2X, telematics HW and UWB/BLE antennas/sensors. We use modern tools and agile methods to create business value continuously. We ensure high quality and adaptability in our development and delivery. Of course, we have a lot of fun together while doing it.

What you’ll do
You’ll help the engineers on your team by removing obstacles and helping them grow. You’ll contribute to agile ways of working, through technical leadership and close collaboration with product owners, scrum masters, other teams and leaders. You are a person that have adopted a lean agile mind-set, applied a servant leadership, have good communication skills and collaborate well.

The team’s tasks will span all the way from contributing to research projects, concept studies to rolling out large-scale and high-quality products. You will work with teams across the company, across the globe, across many functions, such as product management and business development, and with external companies as well as academia

You and your skills
We are looking for an experienced hardware/mechatronic engineering manager, who have previously built and led engineering teams. You have experience in people management, cross-functional collaboration as well as a strong sense of business. To succeed in this role, it is a clear advantage to have working experience from Telecom or other Wireless industry.  

You should carry a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. You would bring strong people management, collaboration and communication skills are essential when working in a diverse and international setting. It is also important that you are continuously developing your own skills and guide and coach your teams to continuously develop theirs.
