Within IEB we are looking for a talented SAP Data Steward team lead to our project who can contribute to the success of the IEB program.
The IEB Program Office (PMO) is established as a central capability - with the responsibility to deliver on all PMO processes. Amongst others, that includes securing ways of working across process areas and cross workstreams. Furthermore, establish and maintain a common toolbox for program management tasks and deliver on several areas that lie within the responsibility of the IEB PMO.
As an IEB data steward team lead, you will work tactically and operationally, with daily master data maintenance and support of the master data in the Scania IEB SAP solution. You will be leading a team of skilled individuals, having a data steward domain responsibility. This is a key role in order to ensure smooth running processes and good data quality on the SAP platform.
You will lead and organize the daily work in the data steward team. You will help the team achieve its goals effectively. In addition, you will be a member of Scania Data Boards and Scania Information Domain Councils, where you together with Scania information owners and information responsible (as part of the Scania Information Journey), will ensure and safeguard data quality in the Scania IEB SAP solution.
The type of activities that you will drive and contribute to are exemplified by;
• Leading the daily work in the Scania IEB/SAP data steward team.
• Represent the Scania IEB/SAP data steward team, in the Scania Information Domain Councils.
• Drive continuous improvement of master data governance processes.
• Act as a guardian of data quality.
• When needed, step in and support with operational tasks, such as:
• Maintain Master Data records; to perform CRUD (create, read, update, delete) operations, with speed throughout the entire Master Data lifecycle.
• Enrich Master Data records with local/global data.
• Approve and release the data for use in business processes.
• Prepare and execute data loading, using the tools provided by IEB program.
Your profile
You have a university degree in IT, engineering or other relevant area and a few years of work experience. You have a background in controlling, purchasing, coordination, administration or similar. It's a plus if you have experience from working with SAP, third-party ETL tool.
You are a structured and well-organized team player, who has a passion for cross-collaboration and can handle operational tasks while having a strategic mindset at the same time. You are motivated by complexity and to make the complex simple and understandable.
