The Rosemount TankRadarABdivision of Emerson Process Management is a leading provider of radar-based level and tank gauging solutions for the marine, oil & gas and process industry markets.[ Founded in 1976, the company has a turnover of over 1 billion kr and employs over 400 people worldwide.[ To support rapid growth and expansion into new areas, we are adding a number of new positions in R&D, purchasing, service and other areas.[ The company is owned by Emerson (NYSE:EMR), an American company with over 128,000 employees and $US20 billion in sales.[ Here is a unique opportunity to lead a team of electrical engineers working to innovate and advance our portfolio of advanced, high precision FMCW and pulse radar gauges.The position comprises an element of engineering as well as an element of leadership.Since we are the world leader in our field, we expect that you are very creative and innovative and can work with your colleagues to bring out the best in the team.Most of our work is carried out in project teams.These projects can encompass all stages of the development lifecycle from idea to introduction into production.The project teams are cross- functional.Typically they comprise competence from software, microwave, and mechanical engineering.Our electrical engineers are responsible for both digital and analog design.To facilitate our design work and improve quality, we use a number of advanced design, simulation, and testing tools.Our products are often installed in safety critical applications in challenging environments such as vibrating tanks in an explosive atmosphere with very limited power availability.This places high requirements on quality, reliability, and design for low power.As a leader in the R&D organization, there are many international contacts including colleagues at other companies within Emerson, approvals agencies, vendors, and customers.To apply for this position you need to have a M.Sc.or B.Sc.degree combined with appropriate leadership experience and a minimum of four years of electronics design experience.It is desired that you have experience with microwave devices (radar, cellular phones, etc).You have the ability to multitask within a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with a large amount of responsibility.You are used to and enjoy working in a team environment.You have excellent oral and written communication skills, both in Swedish and English.You need a driver's license.The position can be located in Linköping or Gothenburg.[ Please apply by using the apply button or the link below, no later than May 15th.
