Teamleader General Ledger, Sweden & Finland team

Our Nordic & Baltic head office is placed in Gothenburg. The Nordic Area (NDC), General Ledger department is looking for a team-leader for the general ledger team working with Maersk Logistics and Agency in Sweden and Finland.As a team-leader you will play an important part of the General Ledger department consisting of 12 people working with transactions for all Nordic entities (Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland).The position is located at the Maersk Sweden office in Gothenburg.General Areas of responsibilities - Timely and accurate financial reporting for the Swedish and Finnish entities - Ensure that the accounts for Sweden and Finland are updated in accordance with local regulations and global/area company guidelines (AP Möller Maersk Gap, good accounting practice, etc) - Prepare statutory accounts and tax returns, compliant with global CB guidelines and local legal regulation - Play an active part of the NDC general ledger team to ensure best practice sharing - Create and maintain a structured and motivated team The position includes day-to-day management authority of the team as well as allocation of tasks and responsibilities within the team as required.The right candidate will also be appointed deputy general ledger manager. The ideal candidate is ambitious, result-driven, structured and thorough, and has a high attention to quality.The person will be expected to have a desire and ability to take own responsibility.Further, the person needs to be a good team-leader with the ability to delegate and motivate team members, and ensure that focus is kept on delivering results.
